We are often asked by our painting guests what equipment they need to bring. As a rough guide, we would suggest the following items:
- Pencil (4B)
- Pencil sharpener
- Rubber
- Watercolour paper/sketchbook/pad
- Paints (suggest Rose Madder, Lemon Yellow, Ultra Marine and Phthalo Blue for Mediterranean sea)
- Brushes (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large)
- A rag, water pot and plate or palette
- Old dark clothing for ink workshop
- Carrying bag
If you forget something, don't worry, there is an excellent art shop in Mahón where all of the above will be available. You do not need to bring a chair, as these are provided by us.
NOTE: Paint in tubes cannot be carried in hand luggage, as they will be confiscated. They should be packed in hold luggage, preferably inside a plastic container.
