About Our Painting Holidays

Menorca Painting Holidays are open to everyone. We welcome couples, singles and small groups of all ages alike.  Artistic genius is not important and Denise, your painting tutor, puts a high emphasis on fun, personal development and low stress. She has a wealth of teaching experience and creates a stimulating, yet calming, atmosphere for you to learn from and enjoy.

Each mornings painting commences with a short watercolour demonstration. Each day we concentrate on a different technique, which is specific to that days location and Denise is always on hand to encourage and offer advice where needed throughout the session.  During your week's holiday you will learn invaluable skills covering the following areas:

• Colour mixing in a limited palet
• Wet in wet
• Dry brushing
• Creating light and sparkle on the water
• Stick and ink technique

We are not just about painting. Of equal importance are good food, good company and a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Every painting day, we take a long, lingering, Mediterranean style lunch. Here we can discuss the morning's events, chat amongst new friends or simply enjoy the wonderful food and wine on offer.
