What to Bring on your Painting Holiday

We are often asked by our painting guests what equipment they need to bring.  As a rough guide, we would suggest the following items:

• Pencil (4B)
• Pencil sharpener
• Rubber
• Watercolour paper/sketchbook/pad
• Paints (suggest Rose Madder, Lemon Yellow, Ultra Marine and Phthalo Blue for Mediterranean sea)
• Brushes (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large)
• A rag, water pot and plate or palette
• Old dark clothing for ink workshop
• Carrying bag

If you forget something, don't worry, there is an excellent art shop in Mahón where all of the above will be available.  You do not need to bring a chair, as these are provided by us.

NOTE: Paint in tubes cannot be carried in hand luggage, as they will be confiscated.  They should be packed in hold luggage, preferably inside a plastic container.
